Watching this during Debbie. I'm glad you don't have any NE cities this year!
Jim, I am shocked to hear this on what you are going through, in my opinion, Hurricane Coverage always begins and ends with you, thank you for your outstanding coverage and hurricane warning shows through the years, Feel Better and Get Well soon, Thank you for everyone you have done for the Hurricane Warning Community. - Tony Mondaro - Harrison, NJ
Keep fighting the good fight man! We need yas around!
Jim took all of this in stride. He never (okay almost never) complained and he went through so much! His surgeon told me when he came out of the operating room that Jim could have died. I have never seen a doctor show concern or emotion and I have the utmost respect for Dr Belazon and how he cares about his patients.
Thank you for making the video. It will give hope to people with colostomies fearful of the Hartmann takedown..
Glad your doing better. Hope you recovery continues well.
Great news, Jim! Many of us fair-skinned folks of an age before sunscreen was emphasized are having similar experiences.
God Speed Jim. Good to see you back up and running doing what you love, tracking Hurricanes! 🙏😎👍
Hop you get better
The eyewall winds on the other side were vicious compared to the initial side you were in.
Insect legs🕷️
Good to see your still at it. Gettin a little gray huh. No hurricane's in indiana just tornadoes.
You all act like things hitting the truck came as a complete suprise, what did you expect during a cat 5?
👍
Is houston at risk this year?

Nothing statistically added up for this area but that does not mean you can't get affected
Thanks!

Well done Jim - you’re a champion
Jim, Bill....much respect..
Jim Williams at HurricaneCity was one of the first to do this and continues to be the Best - Take Note - Fox Weather and The Weather Channel !!! - Excellent Work Jim and Bill !!
nice work Jim ... was the storm "over hyped " in your opinion or do you think the news/gov agencies did a good job on this one ?
Great work Jim and Bill your dedication and knowledge sharing is unsurpassed - Regards
I don't even live there! And I'm appreciative of what your doing! Thankyou. (I live in Oregon)😊
Hey Jim! Glad to see you out there tracking and chasing the storm!
Best of Luck Jim...
Sorry Jim you are going through these health problems. Hipefully you will start to feel better. If you will, can you give all of us and update on your condition now.. Get well soon.
butter up those nurses for sure --- that extra fruit cup and fresh ice water in your pitcher means a lot when ya are down flat on ya back and can't get it on your own
funny thing about the nurses I bet they know early on who's nice and who's going to be a PITA
Damn Jim when it rains it pours huh bud ? -- Having battled both colon problems and skin cancer I feel your pain but take heart -- you are home now and there is light at the end of the tunnel
A lot of good advice. Hope you can past this and hopefully you'll help someone who is in a similar situation! You actually look better in this video than the last so that's good!
Actually felt & looked the same after each hospital visit as I'm typing this day 4 post op pain still at 7 of 10 down from 10 eating a little more but not much.
Hi Jim. I just watched this and I thank you for sharing your experience. The educational information you provided is very helpful and important. Most importantly though, you are trying to find a way to vent about this onslaught of adversity that you have been dealing with. I hope this is the light at the end of the tunnel for you. - Greg Machos
How does Louisiana look this hurricane season
I mentioned the small circle in northern gulf & said either right or left of that circle is in play also talked on potential Betsy track.
@@jimhurricanecity thanks
Thanks, Jim!
Best hurricane book I have read...and I've read a lot..
Get better, we need you out there
What think about for Puerto Rico and lesser antilles? The atlantic is very warm
I expect that there will be a TUTT in the SW Atlantic, which will likely make it hard for storms to become strong there.
My predictions are statistical based for example Ponce & San Juan get impacted by named storms when there is an average of 16 named storms I'm not expecting that many. Also the analog years I chose had no impacts in PR not to say it wont happen but not high on my list this year.
Thanks for sharing this Jim. It's good to hear good news!
I'm kind of speechless... Autumn needs an attitude adjustment and get with the program...... it's going to be an interesting hurricane season. Oh Lord... sorry first words not making this a religious thing. Hang in there Jim... hug the wife for me. A good sense of humor helps......... and am sure you've helped people by sharing this!
I had to like this video -- I have MS and it has resulted in some incontinence issues -- it took me a long time to come to terms with that but I can joke about it now -- you came to terms with your condition so quickly Jim that I see what an inspiration it can be for folk coming to terms with similar things -- kudos -- also on the skin cancer this Florida sun is brutal and I worked in it all my life -- take it from us hat, sunscreen what ever it takes huh bud? -- Praying for ya brother
I’ve been through something like this. The Pike guys were heading to my area (I live in Croom a choochee AKA Croom). I had my family in the truck at the time, someone ran a stop sign, bend my frame of my truck, I blacked out, woke up to my kids screaming “open the doors, fire fire”….my (ex) husband was passed out, I had to slam my body against my door, slide out and had to prey open the back door to get my kids out…..but that air bag dust is so bad. I coughed for 2 days. Long story short, we were all ok but now when I see people on the side streets, to this day I still get spooked…..I’m glad your ok and I hope things work out soon for ya.
Wow! Thank God your ok and thank God for Dashcams!!
One of the saddest stories I ever read. Jim did a fantastic job in making you a part of the ship and crew. Then when the ship goes down, you feel it like you were there.
Thanks Jim!
You are live here
Two women and dog, looting the Winn Dixie liquor store-should of said something to them. One looked familiar living just down on Cherry St. You were two blocks catty-cornered from where we rode this beast out. Sitting the first half you were looking right towards us.
Gotta love this dude drives into a cat 5 hurricane then keeps whining about shit hitting his truck 😂
Whining???? Quite frankly I expected worse but it sounds loud in the truck when large debris hits it but to call it whining is rediculous
Whining vs reacting?😭obvious he was reacting to his car being popped work debris at 140+ mph
